Hasan Ali is a Pakistani cricketer who is well-known for his outstanding performances as a fast bowler. He was born on February 2, 1994, in the Gujranwala District Pakistan. Hasan is a right-arm fast bowler and also a handy lower-order batsman.
He came into the limelight during domestic cricket with his ability to bowl with good pace, swing, and seam movement. Hasan's impressive performances in the domestic circuit earned him a place in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise, Peshawar Zalmi, where he further showcased his potential as a pace bowler.
Hasan Ali made his international debut for Pakistan in August 2016, in One Day International (ODI) against Ireland. He quickly made a mark with his lively bowling, making him a key member of Pakistan's limited-overs setup. He played a pivotal role in Pakistan's triumph in the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017, where he was the highest wicket-taker of the tournament.
He has been a regular member of the Pakistan national team in all three formats - Tests, ODIs, and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Hasan possesses the ability to generate good pace and bounce, making him a potent threat to opposing batsmen. His ability to swing the ball and deliver well-directed bouncers has made him an asset in all formats of the game.
Hasan Ali was born into a Punjabi Jatt family belonging to the Malhi clan. His hometown is Ladhe Wala Waraich, and he draws inspiration from his father, Abdul Aziz Malhi, throughout his life. He is known for his celebratory wicket-taking gesture, often referred to as the "bomb explosion" or "generator dance," which has become quite popular among cricket fans.
