Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja is a top all-rounder in modern cricket, born on December 6, 1988, in India. His full name is Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja. He plays in all formats and ranks high in the ICC Rankings. He gained fame in the inaugural IPL for Rajasthan Royals and was called a 'Rockstar' by Shane Warne. Jadeja's exceptional domestic and IPL performances earned him a place in the Indian team in 2009.

He made his ODI and T20I debut in 2009 but had to wait until 2013 for his Test debut. Despite initial challenges, he became the fastest left-arm bowler to reach 200 wickets in Test cricket. Jadeja's Test career took off in 2016, and he's excelled in both Tests and ODIs, making him a valuable player in the white-ball format as well.

Ravindra Jadeja was born in Navagam Ghed, Gujarat, to a Gujarati Rajput Hindu family. His father, Anirudh, worked as a security guard and hoped Ravindra would join the army, but young Jadeja was more interested in cricket. His mother, Lata, tragically passed away in an accident in 2005, which almost made him quit the sport. He has a sister, Naina, who is a nurse. Jadeja currently resides in Jamnagar.

He married politician Rivaba Jadeja on April 17, 2016, and they have a daughter born in June 2017.
