Axar Patel

Axar Patel is an Indian cricketer from Gujarat. His full name is Axar Rajeshbhai Patel. He can bat left-handed and bowl with his left arm. He plays all types of cricket. He started with Gujarat's team in 2012 and then played well in the Ranji Trophy in 2013–14. He joined the IPL in 2014 and later the Indian team.

He made his ODI debut against Bangladesh and played in the World Cup 2015. In the same year, he also started playing T20I matches. He is often seen as a backup to senior player Ravindra Jadeja.

In 2021, he made his Test debut and did really well, taking five wickets in his first match. In 12 Test matches, he took 50 wickets and also did well with the bat. He scored 264 runs in 5 innings against Australia, averaging 88.

In 2022, he scored his first ODI century against West Indies. He's a good all-rounder, but there's more to come in his international career.

Axar Patel's father's name is Rajesh Patel and his mother's name is Pritiben Patel. Apart from his parents, he has one elder brother Sanship Patel, and one elder sister Shivangi Patel.

After dating for a while, Axar Rajeshbhai Patel got engaged to his girlfriend, Meha Patel, on his 28th birthday, January 20, 2022. Exactly a year later, on January 26, 2023, they got married. Meha Patel is now his wife. She is a Dietician by profession.
