Momina Duraid is a Pakistani director and producer. She was bon on 30th June 1971 in Karachi, Pakistan. She is a senior producer and creative head of the television network Hum TV and CEO of her own production company MD Productions. Starting as a creative head at Hum TV, Momina quickly rose to prominence with the launch of critically acclaimed and commercially successful dramas. Her early projects like Dastaan (2010), based on Razia Butt’s novel, and Qaid-e-Tanhai (2010–11), received wide appreciation for their emotional depth and narrative strength. She cemented her legacy with Humsafar (2011–12), a cultural phenomenon that catapulted Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan to superstardom and reshaped television storytelling.
Momina continued her success streak with hits like Shehr-e-Zaat (2012), Zindagi Gulzar Hai (2012–13), Diyar-e-Dil (2015), Sadqay Tumhare (2015), Mann Mayal (2016), and Udaari (2016), which addressed taboo subjects like child abuse with sensitivity.
