The ICC World Cup is a is the biggest, most awaited Cricket tournament watched by millions of fans around the world. Every four years, the ten best cricket teams in the world compete in this event.
It’s a very prestigious tournament, and the winning team gets a special trophy made of silver and gold. This is a big deal because the teams have to play many tough and high-pressure games to win it.
But it’s not just the trophy that teams can win. The ICC also gives out individual awards like the Golden Bat (for the top run-scorer), Golden Ball (for the top wicket-taker), Player of the Tournament, and Player of the Match in the Final.

India has the most Golden Bat winners (Top Run-Scorers) in the ICC ODI World Cup. Three Indian players, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and Rohit Sharma, have won the Golden Bat four times in total. Sachin Tendulkar won it twice in the 1996 and 2003 World Cups.
New Zealand comes in second place with three players on the list. Glenn Turner (in 1975), Martin Crowe (in 1992), and Martin Guptill (in 2015) all won the Golden Bat.
Sachin Tendulkar is the only player who won the ICC Golden Bat more than once. He also holds the record for the most runs scored in a single World Cup. In the World Cup 2003, he scored an incredible 673 runs, and no one has come close to beating that record since.
