Huawei has officially announced that its Smart Screen is launching globally on 19 September in Munich Germany at the same event as Mate 30 series and the Watch GT 2. The Honor Vision TV otherwise known as the Honor “smart screen,” as we all know is currently only limited to the Chinese market. But all that could change soon, as it appears the Chinese firm has made plans to launch the device or a completely new version in the international market.
Four so-called Huawei/Honor Smart Screen devices first surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG database a few days ago, and now, Huawei has officially the arrival of a new Huawei Smart screen.
The official announcement takes place on September 19 in Munich, Germany at the same event as Mate 30 series and the Watch GT 2. And as expected, the Huawei Smart screen will be based on Huawei’s Hongmeng OS, further breaking its reliance on Google’s Android OS. From the official poster, the smart screen adopts an ultra-narrow bezel design with a pop-up camera module, similar to that of the Honor Smart Screen.

According to Richard Yu AKA Yu Chengdu Huawei Consumer Business Group, the Huawei Tv will come with the new HarmonyOS. The TV will come with several IoT and smart technologies including AI Image Quality Engine, multi-device interaction center, Huawei Cloud and Sound Services, and more.
Similar to Honor Vision, the hardware of this TV will be equipped HUAWEI self-developed intelligent chipsets the Honghu 818 Intelligent Display Chipset, an AI Camera NPU chipset and a Wi-Fi chipset. To maximize entertain it has integrated Histen sound quality optimization technology.
Additionally Huawei Screen expected to adopt pop-up selfie camera with face recognition, and AI assistant as well as gesture tracking for users. Previous leaks about this TV, says that it would support 8K resolution and 5G connectivity but not officially confirmed by the company.
