Naeem Tahir is a senior and notable Pakistani actor, scholar, public speaker, columnist, teacher and dramatist. He was born on 26th February 1937 in Amritsar, Punjab, British India. Naeem Tahir is known for In the Name of God (2007), Mann Mayal (2016), Titli (2017) and Do Tola Pyaar (2019). His works are extensively published. He has completed BSC and MA (psychology) and a bachelor’s in arts theatre. He explored information about the citizens of Indus valley at times of prehistory and that was published in the national arts council. Daily times and other magazines have published his works. One of his research-based works on terrorism was serialized as ‘Samjhota express’. The famous national art gallery called ‘jewel of Islamabad’ was completed and commissioned by him.
He partially implemented a program of cultural understanding through performing arts in Washington’s Kennedy Arts Center during his tenure. In Asia cultural minister conference in Beijing, he was designated to represent Pakistan as head of a delegation.
