Javed Sheikh is a Pakistani Actor, Film Director, and Producer. He was born on 8th October 1954 in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan He has acted in more than 100 films in Urdu, Sinhala, and Punjabi. His television appearances include those on PTV, Hum TV, Geo Entertainment, and A-Plus. His first film, Mushkil, was released in 1995.
He also played a supporting role in Yeh Dil Aap Ka Huwa, which he directed in 2002. As an actor in Bollywood films, he appeared in Shikhar (2005), Jaan-E-Mann (2006), Jannat (2008), Namaste London, Om Shanti Om, Mein Ek Din Laut Kay Aaoon Ga, Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida (2020), Pyar Deewangi Hai (2022), and Yun Tu Hai Pyar Bohut (2021).
He recently directed Khulay Aasman Ke Neechay, a big-budget film shot in four countries (Pakistan, India, United Arab Emirates, and Australia). Net loss of Rs. 80 million resulted from the failure of production at the box office. Recently, he has appeared in many hits Pakistani films such as Na Maloom Afraad (2014), Bin Roye (2015), and Wrong No. (2015), Jawani Phir Nahi Ani (2015), Mehrunisa V Lub U (2017) and Na Maloom Afraad 2 (2017).
Javed Sheikh has occasionally returned to Bollywood, appearing in Tamasha (2014) with Ranbir Kapoor and Happy Bhaag Jayegi (2016) with his daughter Momal Sheikh. As a director and actor, Sheikh directed Wujood in 2018 and starred in Saat Din Mohabbat as a ghost named Dwarka Prasad in 2018. He is currently working on the action comedy Teefa in Trouble, which has been a huge success.
