Sharjah Police has announced a 50 per cent discount on traffic fines and removal of traffic points from Tuesday 22 October 2019 to 31 January 2020.
Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, made the announcement on Tuesday.
This is a move that is expected to encourage motorists to clear their debts,” said Maj-Gen Al Shamsi.
The police will make arrangements to facilitate fine payments in all of its police stations and through other methods, he added.
Maj-Gen Al Shamsi thanked Sharjah leaders for supporting the police’s efforts in enhancing security and safety in the emirate.
