The British Council Pakistan has officially denied all rumors about the cancellation of school exams under its supervision. This clarification comes after a lot of wrong information started spreading on social media.
A fake notice was shared online, claiming that the British Council had canceled its upcoming exams. In response, the British Council posted an announcement on its verified social media accounts, saying that the notice is completely false. They made it clear that all exams will happen as planned and there is no change in the schedule.
The British Council also advised students, parents, and teachers not to believe any unofficial messages or posts they see on social media. Instead, they should only trust the information shared through the British Council’s official website or social media pages. This way, they can stay updated with the correct news.
In another development, the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) has suddenly delayed its intermediate exams. The exams were supposed to begin soon, but the board announced the postponement just one day before they were scheduled to start.
According to the board, the delay happened due to “unavoidable reasons.” Although they did not share a new exam schedule yet, media reports suggest that the main reason behind the delay is a teachers’ protest. Many teachers refused to take part in the exam duties, which made it impossible for the board to continue with the exams as planned.
Because of this situation, the exams are now uncertain, and students are left waiting for further updates. The board is expected to share a revised exam timetable soon after resolving the issue with the teachers.
