The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has taken a major step toward digital convenience for the people of Pakistan. It has now introduced a new feature in its Pak ID mobile app that allows users to download digital versions of their vehicle registration cards and arms licence cards — completely free of cost.
With this update, citizens no longer need to carry physical copies of these documents. They can now save secure digital copies of their vehicle and arms licence cards directly on their mobile phones. This service makes life easier for users by giving them quick and safe access to their important documents anytime, anywhere.
This initiative is part of NADRA’s broader mission to make public services more accessible and efficient through digital transformation. It reflects the authority’s focus on modernizing systems and reducing paperwork for everyday services.
To help users understand how to use this new feature, NADRA has also uploaded a step-by-step instructional video on its official YouTube channel. Anyone can follow the video to learn how to easily download their digital cards.

B-Form (Child Registration Certificate) Process Simplified by NADRA
In addition to the Pak ID services, NADRA has also made it easier for parents to apply for their children’s Child Registration Certificate (CRC), commonly known as the B-Form.
This document is essential for every Pakistani child as it serves as their official identity and helps them get access to schools, health care, and other services. NADRA’s updated process ensures that the registration is smooth, faster, and more transparent.
Documents Required for B-Form Application:
To apply for the B-Form, parents need to submit the following documents:
- Original CNICs of both parents
- Birth certificate of the child, issued by the relevant Union Council or Cantonment Board
- If the child is adopted, then legal proof of custody is required
- In case of granting Pakistani citizenship, the relevant certificate must also be provided
Age-Based Requirements for B-Form Application:
NADRA has made the process flexible according to the child’s age:
- For children under 3 years, their presence is not required, and no photograph is needed.
- For children aged 3 to 10 years, only a photograph is required.
- For children aged 10 to 18 years, a photograph, fingerprints, and iris scan are needed.
This tiered system helps parents prepare properly and avoid unnecessary delays during registration.
With the launch of digital access to vehicle and arms licence cards through the Pak ID app and a streamlined process for B-Form registration, NADRA is leading the way in Pakistan’s digital transformation. These new services save time, reduce physical paperwork, and offer a secure and modern way to manage your important documents.
Citizens are encouraged to take full advantage of these free digital services and stay updated through NADRA’s official channels.
