She's an all-rounder and plays for the Watsonian Cricket Club at the domestic level. She has played for English teams like The Blaze (formerly known as Lightning) and Derbyshire. She was also drafted by Manchester Originals. Previously, Kathryn played for English teams Warwickshire, Loughborough Lightning, Lincolnshire, and Trent Rockets. She's part of the Warriors team in FairBreak Invitational T20 tournaments.
Bryce received the title of ICC Associate Cricketer of the Decade. In June 2021, she achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first cricketer from Scotland, whether male or female, to break into the top ten of the ICC Player Rankings. Kathryn's younger sister, Sarah Bryce, is also a part of the international cricket team for Scotland.
Kathryn Bryce hails from a family passionate about cricket. Kathryn and her sister, Sarah Bryce, embraced various sports from a young age, enjoying games in their garden. Cricket's influence began with watching the 2005 Men's Ashes series as a family tradition, often playing the sport themselves. Kathryn joined a girls' cricket team at George Watson's College when she was nine, thanks to a letter from former Scotland international player Liz Smith, who started the girls' team. In 2015 and 2016, Kathryn's school team, with her as a member, won the senior-level Women's Scottish Cup tournament.
Kathryn's cricketing skills were apparent early, and she even became the first girl to play for the school's boys' first XI team. She also played for the Watsonian Cricket Club. In 2017, Kathryn moved to Loughborough University in England to pursue a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and continued her cricket training in a high-performance program. Her sister, Sarah, later joined her at Loughborough University, and they often played for the same team.

Kathryn Bryce started by playing for the Watsonian Cricket Club and her school's girls' cricket team. She joined the Scotland team in the Women's County Championship, where she gained valuable experience. She had a standout season, playing in all eight matches for Scotland in the Women's County Championship in 2016, helping the team secure promotion to a higher division. Bryce's move to Loughborough University in England marked another milestone in her career, and she represented Warwickshire in the Women's County Championship.
