Darcey Carter (Darcey Elizabeth Morris Carter) is a cricketer English-born Scottish cricketer who was born on May 31, 2005, in Bexley, Greater London. She currently represents Kent and South East Stars in cricket. Darcey is a right-arm off-break bowler. She made her international debut for Scotland in July 2023, in a Twenty20 International (T20I) against Thailand. and then She made her One Day International (ODI) debut on 17 October 2023, against Ireland.

Darcey Carter made her county debut in 2022, playing for Kent against Hampshire, where she took 2/12 from her 2 overs. Overall, she took six wickets at an average of 16.50 in the Women’s Twenty20 Cup 2022. She played two matches in the Women’s Twenty20 Cup 2023, taking two wickets at an average of 8.50.
Carter was named in the South East Stars Academy squad between 2021 and 2023. She was promoted to the senior squad in June 2023. She made her debut for the side on 2 July 2023, against Northern Diamonds in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, taking 2/31 from 5 overs.
In August 2022, Darcey Carter had a significant moment when she played for the Scotland Under-19s in the Europe Qualifier for the 2023 ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup, facing the Netherlands. In the third game of that series, she made an impressive 103 not out from 55 balls.
In December 2022, she was chosen to represent Scotland in the Under-19 squad for the 2023 ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup. She played in all four matches of the tournament, scoring a total of 54 runs with an average of 13.50.
In July 2023, Darcey Carter received her first senior call-up, joining the national team for a Tri-Nation Series held in the Netherlands. Her Twenty20 International debut came in the first match of the series against Thailand on July 10, 2023. and she made her One Day International debut on October 17, 2023, in a game against Ireland.
