According to sources and many local Pakistani news channels. The government of Punjab has finalized a two-month schedule for summer vacations in the school and colleges across the province.
All Pakistani educational institutions in provinces will closed from June 1, 2022 to July 31, 2022 Educational activities in the province will resume from August 1 2022.

It is pertinent to mention here that the government of Pakistan had announced a four-day public holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr this year and educational activities were expected to resume from Friday May 6, 2022.
But the majority of Pakistani educational institutions announced an extended holiday till Sunday (May 8). Educational activities across Pakistan, including Punjab, will properly resume today Monday.
According to sources inside the School Education Department (SED), the department has requested that all District Education Authorities (DEAs) keep school hours from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Previously, with the arrival of winter and the shorter days, the education department amended the hours of all schools and colleges to 8:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
