Pak Suzuki has increased prices of its Alto variants and bikes. The price of Alto variants has been increased by up to Rs.85,000 while the price of bikes has been increased by up to Rs.6000.
Due to low demand in the market and auto production plants’ closure, the automobile industry is suffering. The auto companies are increasing the prices of their vehicles that are now getting out of reach of customers budget.
The circular issued by Pak Suzuki to its dealers reveals the newly raised prices of its cars. Suzuki Alto VXR price is increased by Rs.70,000 as it reaches Rs.1,308,000 compared to its earlier price of Rs.1,238,000.
The price of 660cc Alto AGS variant has been increased by Rs.85,000 to reach Rs.1,518,000.
These prices are inclusive of ex-factory price and freight charges.
Pak Suzuki also increased its bike prices including that of GD 110S, GS 150, GS 150 SE and GR 150. The prices have been increased by up to Rs.6,000 effective from 1st October 2019.
Pak Suzuki recently halted bookings of many of its vehicles including that of Alto base VX variant.
Due to the increase in prices, the sales of automobiles are suffering. The reason for this is unclear as even Pak Rupee has gained strength against the US dollar in the last couple of months.
