The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has officially released the detailed schedule for the upcoming annual examinations of Grade 9 and Grade 10. According to the notification issued by the board, the examinations will begin on April 8, 2025. This announcement comes as thousands of students across Karachi prepare to sit for one of the most important assessments of their academic journey.
In total, approximately 375,000 students are expected to take part in this year’s examinations. To ensure smooth and organized conduct, the board has established 499 examination centers across the city. These centers have been carefully selected to accommodate students from various schools and educational institutions. The complete list of examination centers has already been made available on the board’s official website, allowing students and schools to access this vital information well in advance.
Speaking to the media, the Chairman of the Karachi Board confirmed that computerized online admit cards have been generated and distributed to all enrolled students. These admit cards contain essential details such as the student’s roll number, assigned exam center, subject codes, and exam timings. Students are advised to download and print their admit cards from the board’s website, as no manual cards will be accepted at the centers.
Furthermore, the board has emphasized that strict rules and regulations will be in place at all examination venues. Security measures have been intensified to ensure a fair and cheating-free examination environment. As per the official guidelines, mobile phones, smartwatches, and all other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination halls. Any student found in violation of these rules will face disciplinary action, including the possible cancellation of their papers.
The Board of Secondary Education Karachi has reiterated its commitment to conducting transparent and disciplined exams. Parents, teachers, and students are encouraged to cooperate fully with the board’s policies to ensure a smooth and successful examination season.
