Indian cricketers pay tribute to Pakistani spin maestro Abdul Qadir. Former Indian cricketers have taken to social media to express their condolences over the demise of former Pakistan leg-spin legend Abdul Qadir on Friday. Former Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar in a message posted on the social networking website Twitter, said that Abdul Qadir was one of the best spinners of his time.
“Remember playing against Abdul Qadir, one of the best spinners of his times. My heartfelt condolences to his family. Rest in peace,” he tweeted to his 30 million followers.

In addition to the batting superstar, former India leg-spinner Anil Kumble also paid his respects to Qadir, saying the late Pakistani spinner was one of the greatest exponents of the art of leg-spin.
“Saddened to hear about the sudden demise of Abdul Qadir, a great exponent of legspin who revived the art. Heartfelt condolences to his family and friends,” Kumble said.

Former Indian spinner Bishan Singh Bedi, in an emotional message posted on Twitter, said that the contributions of Qadir had made to cricket will long be remembered.
“Abdul Qadir is no more..RIP bouncy little Fella with a very big heart..Yur contribution to Spin will be long remembered in Cricket World..more so in Pakistan whom U served with panache & devotion..Allah REHM Kareh..Heartfelt condolences to the Family Of Late Abdul Qadir,” he tweeted.
