Zoë Kravitz (born December 1, 1988) is an American actress, filmmaker, and musician known for her versatile performances across film, television, and voice acting. She made her screen debut in the romantic comedy No Reservations (2007), but gained wider recognition portraying Angel Salvadore (Tempest) in X-Men: First Class (2011). She continued to rise with prominent roles in major franchises such as The Divergent Series (2014–2016) and Fantastic Beasts (2016–2018).
Kravitz received critical acclaim for her lead roles in the HBO drama Big Little Lies (2017–2019) and the Hulu series High Fidelity (2020). Her film credits include Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), Dope (2015), Gemini (2017), and Kimi (2022). She voiced Mary Jane in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018), and played Catwoman in both The Lego Batman Movie (2017) and the live-action The Batman (2022).
Recognized for her influence and artistic impact, Kravitz was named one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in 2022. She made her directorial debut with the thriller Blink Twice (2024), which she also co-wrote.
In addition to acting, Kravitz is the lead singer of the electro-R&B duo Lolawolf, and has collaborated musically with artists such as Drake, Taylor Swift, Rae Sremmurd, and Janelle Monáe.
