Y Ravi Shankar is a famous Indian film producer. He was born in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. He is co-founder of the Indian film production company “Mythri Movie Makers,” which is known for producing Telugu-language films Srimanthudu (2015), Janatha Garage (2016), Rangasthalam (2018), and Mathu Vadalara (2019) Pushpa (2021), and Farrey (2023).

In 2015, Y. Ravi Shankar made his debut with the Telugu-language action drama film ‘Srimanthudu.’ The film follows a multi-millionaire man named Harsha who adopts a village in an attempt to fill the void in his life and makes effort to improve the standard of living of the local people. Immensely appreciated, the film earned Mythri Movie Makers the award for “Best Popular Film” at the 2016 Nandi Awards. The production house’s second venture, ‘Janatha Garage’ (2016).

In 2018, Mythri Movie Makers produced the Telugu-language period action-drama film ‘Rangasthalam in 1985. In 2021, the Mythri Movie Makers produced another popular Indian Telugu-language action drama film ‘Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1. Y. Ravi Shankar is married to Radhika Nettam. they have a son named Bhavish Yalamanchili.
