Waltair Veerayya is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action film. The film stars Chiranjeevi as the titular character alongside Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, Catherine Tresa and Bobby Simha. The movie directed by K. S. Ravindra (Bobby Kolli) and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Devi Sri Prasad composed the film’s soundtrack. Waltair Veerayya along with the Hindi dubbed version scheduled to release in theaters on 13th January 2023.
Actress Shruti Haasan co-stars with Chiranjeevi in the movie’s starring position. The celebrity used social media to introduce the actress as the film’s leading lady on the occasion of International Women’s Day in 2022. To tell his admirers this news, he shared a photo of them together on social media.
According to sources, Chiranjeevi plays a police officer in the film who is trying to tackle the worrying crime rate in a seaside town. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is reportedly set to make a special cameo appearance in the film, which is said to have a Sri Lankan setting. The movie which is made on a budget of Rs.70-80 crore has already sold its digital rights to Netflix for Rs.50 crore.
