Tanya Ravichandran original name Abbirami Sriram is a famous South Indian film actress. She was born on 20th June 1996 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The actress has appeared in films such as Balle Vellaiyathevaa (2016), Brindavanam (2017), and Karuppan (2017) and Agilan (2023) opposite Priya Bhavani Shankar and Jayam Ravi. Apart, Tanya also will be a part of the new upcoming Indian movie Rasavathi (2024).
The work of her grandfather inspired Tanya to pursue a career in film from an early age. Her mother, Lavanya Sriram, is a classical dancer and therefore trained Tanya and her sister Apparajitha in Bharathanatyam, and they regularly participated in recitals in Chennai during their teenage years. Prior to entering the film industry, she obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women in Chennai and pursued a master’s degree at the Madras School of Social Work.
