Syra Yousuf is a Charming Pakistani television and film actress and also a well-known model. She was born on 20th April 1988 in Karachi, Pakistan. She debuts on television along with Sanam Saeed in a famous drama serial ‘Mera Naseeb’ which proved to be one of the best dramas of all time. She is still recognized for her role as a Nazia in this serial.
Afterward, she got unlimited offers from everyone which she availed very well. In 2012 she was offered the role of Sareena in a sequel to the 27-year-old drama serial ‘Tanhaiyan’ starring Alishba Yousaf, Shehryar Munawar, and Shehroz Sabzwari.
Syra has done intense roles, comic roles, and negative roles as well and got equally praised by the people. In 2016 she gave a special appearance in the song ‘Shakar Wandarai’ in the movie ‘Ho Man Jahan opposite Adeel Hussain, Mahira Khan, and Shehryar Munawar.
The next year she gave her official film debut ‘Chalay Thai the opposite of Zhalay Sarhadi, Mansha Pasha, and Kent S. Leung for which she got the Best Film Debut award.
In 2019 she was seen in the movie ‘Project Ghazi’ with Humayun Saeed and Shehryar Munawar, but unfortunately, the film failed to impress the audience.
Syra is also a stunning model who has worked with many brands and has walked on a ramp several times for various well-known designers. She often does bridal shoots where she looks incredible.
She likewise has been seen in various Television commercials as a brand Ambassador also. She walked on the ramp with Kent S. Leung (her costar in the movie Chalay that sath) at QMobile Hum Bridal Couture Week 2017 for Uzma Babar.
Syra started her career as a Video Jockey at MTV Pakistan where she got an offer to host a show ‘Bheja Fry’. Afterward, she hosted ‘Most wanted’ and then moved herself to the acting side.
Syra’s father Mohammad Yousaf while her mother hails from Afghanistan. Her elder sister Palwasha Yousaf is a fashion and hairstylist while her other sister Alishba Yousaf is also a part of Showbiz. One of her sisters Ruqqaiya Yousaf died in 2013 due to cancer.
She got married to Pakistani actor Shehroz Sabzwari in 2012 in a family event and is the son of the legendary actor Behroze Sabzwari and Safeena Sheikh.
The couple was blessed with a daughter Noreeh Shehroz. However, that didn’t turn out well, and both revealed the final decision of their divorce on 29th Feb 2020.
