Sudeepa is a South Indian actor and also know as a director, producer, and screenwriter. He was born on 2 September 1971 in Shimoga, Mysore State, India. Sudeep gained a lot of popularity in the movies Huchcha (2001), Nandhi (2002), and Swathi Muthu (2003).
Sudeepa is known for his critically acclaimed performances in the Kannada films Sparsha (2000), Huchcha (2001), Nandhi (2002), Kiccha (2003), Swathi Muthu (2003), My Autograph (2006), No 73, Shanthi Nivasa (2007), Mussanjemaatu (2008), Veera Madakari (2009), Just Maath Maathalli (2010), Vishnuvardhana (2011), Kempe Gowda (2011), the Telugu-Tamil bilingual Eega (2012), Maanikya (2014), Ranna (2015), Kotigobba 2 (2016), Hebbuli (2017), The Villain (2018), Pailwaan (2019), Telugu-Hindi bilingual Rakta Charitra and the Hindi film Dabangg 3 (2019).
Sudeep started his acting career in 1997 with the “Thayavva.” Unfortunately, the film failed at the box office. Next, he acted in “Huchcha” which proved to be a turning point in his career and was his first commercial success.
He produced, directed, and acted in the 2006 romantic drama film “My Autograph.” In 2012, he played a negative role in S. S. Rajamouli’s “Eega” The movie was a commercial success.
After that, Sudeep acted in many successful movies including “Vishnuvardhana” (2011), “Ranna” (2015), “Baahubali: The Beginning” (2015), “Hebbuli” (2017), “Ambi Ning Vayassaytho” (2018), “Pailwaan” (2019), and “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy” (2019). In 2019, he was seen playing a negative role in the action film “Dabangg 3“.
Sudeepa’s next Vikrant Rona, directed by Anup Bhandari, featured Nirup Bhandari and Neetha Ashok. He is also set to play an extended cameo as Bhargav Bakshi in the upcoming Pan India movie Kabzaa (2023) starring Upendra.
His father is Sanjeev Manjappa, and his mother, Saroja, is a homemaker. Sudeepa first met Priya Radhakrishnan in Bengaluru in 2000. Both soon got married in the following year in 2001. The couple was blessed with a daughter Saanvi Sudeep, born in 2004. Priya Radhakrishnan is from the Nair family of Kerala.
In 2015, the couple filed divorce papers in the family court in Bengaluru, on mutual consent to separate. Later in 2017, Sudeep And their Wife Priya withdrew Divorce Case for the sake of their daughter Sanvi.
