Sriya Reddy is an Indian Actress and Model. She was born on 28 November 1983 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Her acting career began after she worked as a VJ at SS Music. Black (2004), Thimiru (2006), and Kanchivaram (2008) are probably her best-known Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films, following her debut in Samurai (2002).
She had four films released in 2006, two of which were Tamil films. Vishal Krishna, her later brother-in-law, portrayed Sriya as a rustic, loud woman with negative shades in the action flick Thimiru, directed by Tarun Gopi. Her performance was widely praised.
Additionally, Sriya was part of an ensemble cast in the S. Shankar-produced drama Veyil, directed by Vasanthabalan, in which she appeared alongside Bharath, Pasupathy, Bhavana, and Priyanka Nair. She appeared in a pivotal role in Priyadarshan’s art film Kanchivaram, which was highly acclaimed and received the National Film Award, as well as two Filmfare Awards.
