Sharib Hashmi is a Hindi film actor, writer, producer, and director. He was born on 25 January 1976 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. A notable role he played was that of J.K. Talpade in The Family Man (2019-2021) on Amazon Prime Video. Sharib worked behind the scenes in MTV Roadies Season 2. In 2008, he appeared in Slumdog Millionaire, which became an Oscar-winning movie.
As a supporting actor in Jab Tak Hai Jaan, in which Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif appeared, he played a major role alongside Inaamulhaq and Kumud Mishra.
In the following years, he worked on films like Badmashiyaan (2015), Phullu Phullu (2017), Vodka Diaries (2018), Batti GUI Meter Chalu (2018), Nakkash (2019), Ujda Chaman (2019), Darbaan (2020) and Vikram Vedha (2022).
Among Sharib Hashmi’s other credits are the Amazon Prime blockbuster series The Family Man and the Voot Select blockbuster Asur. He appeared in many commercials, television web series, and films in 2020, including A Viral Wedding, and Scam 1992.
Sharib Hashmi’s parents’ names are not known but also Sharib married Nasreen Hashmi on December 27, 2003. Both the couple’s children are girls.
