Sharad S. Kapoor is an Indian actor. He was born on 13 February 1976 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India. Sharad gained popularity in Bolly Wood movies including known for Josh (2000), Achena Atithi (1997), and Lakshya (2004) Jai Ho, Tamanna, also Sharad plays a supporting role in the upcoming Bolly Wood movie The Good Maharaja (2023) opposite Sanjay Dutt.
Sharad S. Kapoor started his career as an assistant director in 1991 with the Bollywood film “Lakshmanrekha.” He made his acting debut in 1994 with the Bollywood film “Mera Pyara Bharat.”
He made his Bengali film debut in 1997 with the film “Achena Atithi” as ‘Pratap/Ranjit.’ Subsequently, he appeared in the Bengali films Kalo Chita (2004), Parinam (2005), Wanted (2010), and Kolkata The Metro Life (2010).
Sharad is married to Koyal Basu, granddaughter of Jyoti Basu (Former Chief Minister of West Bengal).
