He then joined Barry John Acting Studio, Mumbai in 2005 and has spent more than 19 years training the acting aspirants. Over the years he has trained several actors like Frieda Pinto, Jacqueline Fernandez, Vani Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Richa Chadda, Harshvardhan Rane and Rana Daggubati. He directed his first short film Gul in 2006. The film was featured at Kerala International Film Festival.
