Sameer Nair is an well known Indian producer. He was born on 3rd December 1965 in Mumbai, India, who worked for the Hindi film industry. He was an Indian media executive and business professional and presently working as the CEO of Applause Entertainment Limited. Sameer played a significant role in gaining the Star TV network the number one slot in 2000 by launching Balaji daily soap serials on Star Plus and Kaun Banega Crorepati. He also played a significant role in the launch of Channel V, Star Utsav, Star Vijay, Star One, and Star Gold. As a producer Sameer Nair will be direct in the upcoming film Zwigato (2023). His parents and siblings are unknown. Sameer Nair got married to Sawari Alagh.

Sameer completed his school at Wilson High School, Mumbai, and later moved to St. Xavier College. He got his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Madras.
