Munawar Saeed is a senior Pakistani television & film actor. He was born on 1st July, 1941 in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, British India. Munawar is best known for his Aarzoo (1975), Deewangi (1983), Allah Rakha (1987), (1983). Munawar is career of over four decades in the industry having done roles in 200 films and more than 1000 television dramas. Some of his recent famous dramas are Bunty I Love You, Shehr-e-Zaat Mere Humrahi, Main Hari Piya, and Roshan Sitara.
In 1967, Munawar Saeed began his showbiz career at Pakistan Television (PTV), Pakistan’s only state-owned broadcaster at the time. Just after starting showbiz career, Munawwar Saeed had proved himself as a dedicated and talented actor. In the beginning of his acting career, he had acted in several popular dramas of that time during the 70’s decade including Taqreeb e Imtehaan by renowned writer Ashfaque Ahmed, Mirza Ghalib Bander Road Par, Akhara and Gandasa.
Munawar had started his film career from the movie Ghar Damaad, in which he appeared as a villain. Munawwar famous films were Deewangi, Anmol and Jogi. Nowadays, he is associated with the television industry and work in limited dramas to maintain the quality of his acting.
