Umair, hailing from a wealthy and influential family, is influenced by his father Zahid's outdated and conservative views. Zahid's control over his wife, Nasreen, reflects his self-serving agenda, instilling doubts about women in Umair's mind. In university, Umair falls for Zaira, a progressive thinker. Their mutual love is celebrated by Zaira's supportive childhood friend, Saad. However, after marrying Umair, Zaira confronts the complexities of his household dynamics. Zaira's progressive ideals clash with Zahid's conservatism, causing turmoil in her life. Umair, previously accepting of Zaira and Saad's friendship, now questions their closeness, straining his relationship with Zaira, who is bewildered by his sudden change in perspective.
