Jitendra Trehan is an Indian television & film actor. He was born on 31st August 1955 in New Delhi. Jitendra Trehan is best known for Shool (1999), Gabbar Is Back (2015), Batla House (2019) and the actor Jitendra Trehan will also be starring in the upcoming film Sector Balakot (2023). Jitendra Trehan is married. He has a son – Rajat, who works as a Senior Manager in a bank, and a daughter named Parul, who stays in Bangalore. He has interest in sports, and supports Maria Sharapova, Sania Mirza, Sachin Tendulkar, Mary Kom, and Saina Nehwal. He was a student of Pusa Polytechnic around year 1969.
Jitendra was cast as Mr. Trivedi, the antagonist and the father of Raghav (played by Gautam Sharma) in the Hindi series, Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah on Zee TV in the year 2008. Prior to this, he became popular for playing the role of Himmat Govardhan Virani in the award-winning soap opera, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on Star Plus. He is the son of Amba (played by Sudha Shivpuri) and Govardhan Virani (played by Dinesh Thakur). His brothers are Manuskh (played by Shakti Singh) and JD Virani (played by Muni Jha), and he also has one sister named Pragya (played by Utkarsha Naik). He got married to Daksha (played by Ketki Dave), and they have two kids namely Chirag (played by Hussain Kuwajerwala) and Suhasi (played by Pooja Ghai Rawal).
In 2012, he was seen as Raghuveer Raichand in Rajshri Productions’ Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga on Sahara One. Jitendra acted in the television drama series, as Rudra Singh Rathore, the father of Samrat (played by Mohit Malik) on Zee TV channel in 2013. He was cast along with veteran actor, Jayant Rawal. He was also seen as Kaka in the supernatural thriller drama series, Sasural Simar Ka on Colors TV. Jitendra was also cast as Girjapati in Big Productions’ Beta Hi Chahiye from 2013 up to this date.
