Ishari Ganesh is a South Indian actor and producer. He was born on October 7, 1966, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is well known for Seeru (2020), 2.0 (2018), and LKG (2019) and is also the founder, vice-chancellor, and chairman of Vels University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Ishari Ganesh founded the Vels Educational Trust in 1992 in the loving memory of his late father Isari Velan, a previous minister in the state government.
He founded a production company named Vels Film International. Ganesh has worked in several films like Dharma Seelan (1993), Doubles (2000), Thulluvadho Ilamai (2002), One Two Three (2002), and 2.0 (2018) which starred the Superstar Rajnikanth.
He has also produced films like Devi (2016), Bogan (2017), Sometimes (2018), Junga (2018), LKG (2019), Devi 2 (2019), Komali (2019), Kizhakku Africavil Raju (2019), also his part of new upcoming movie Indian 2 which his play supporting role as an actor in the movie.
