Vijay Singh Deol is a super star Indian actor. He was born on 27th January, 1967 in Mumbai, India. Bobby Deol works in Hindi cinema and web series. He is the recipient of a Filmfare Award and a Filmfare Best Actor Award nomination.
Bobby Deol first briefly appeared as a child actor at the age of ten in Dharam Veer (1977). Deol made his acting debut with the highly successful romance Barsaat (1995) that won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He established himself as a lead in successful films like Gupt (1997), Soldier (1998), Badal (2000), Bichhoo (2000), Ajnabee (2001) and Humraaz (2002). Bobby Deol has joined the cast of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming period action film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, the makers announced on Saturday.
Since then, a major setback caused in his career during which his only rarely successful films were those where he did parallel roles like Apne (2007), Yamla Pagla Deewana (2011), Race 3 (2018) and Housefull 4 (2019). He earned critical acclaim for the OTT films Class of ’83 (2020) and Love Hostel (2022) and the notable web series Aashram (2020–present).
Bobby Deol is the second son of Bollywood star Dharmendra and Parkash Kaur. His Dad Dharmendra is a legendary Bollywood actor and so is his eldest brother named Sunny Deol. The other renowned members of Deol’s family are his step-mom Hema Malini, and his sister named Esha Deol, a glamorous and promising Hindi movie actor.
