Balaji Sakthivel is an Indian director, writer, and also know as actor. He was born on 1 January 1964 in Batlagundu, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, India.
Balaji is famous for directing Kaadhal, the 2004 film. Initially, he was director S. Shankar’s assistant director. Sakthivel directed his first film Samurai for Vikram in 2002.
It received positive reviews from audiences everywhere, but at the box office, it could not make it big. Under S. Shankar’s production house, the S Pictures banner, Sakthivel released Kaadhal in 2004 after a two years break.
