Amrit Amby is an Indian actor and Singer. He was born on 20 January 1993 in Village Gobindpur, Sangrur, Punjab. Amritpal Singh made his career in acting and did multiple theaters and acts. He also is the Gold Medalist of Punjabi University. Amrit made his television debut in 2012 as a contestant on the PTC Punjabi comedy show Laughter Da Master.
Amrit has also appeared in Punjabi films such as Jora 10 Numbaria, Hard Kaur, and Sardar Mohammad. He performed in Nimrat Khaira’s song Rohab Rakhdi.
Amrit has worked on PTC Punjabi short films such as Kidder Nu Me Java, Zameer, Purpose Nikke Da, and others. He also started a YouTube channel named Yaar Malvaiye uploads a few sketches, short comedies, and a theatre play.
In 2018, he co-starred with Prateek Singh, Karan Sandhawalia, and others in Sharry Mann’s Punjabi online series “Yaar Jigree Kasooti Degree” and played Lalli. Following that. He has also appeared in other Punjabi web series such as “Student War” and “Yaar Jigree Kasooti Degree2”.
He also played a role in How to Become a Hit Punjabi Singer. His movies include but aren’t limited to “Jora: The Second Chapter” (2020), “Zindagi Zindabaad” (2019), “Hard Kaur” (2017), and “Sardar Mohammad” (2017) and “Jora 10 Numbaria” (2017). Darshan Singh is his father’s name, and Balwinder Kaur is his mother’s. He graduated from Dayanand Anglo Vedic Public School in Jakhal, earned a diploma from Baba Hira Singh Bhattal Institute in Lehragaga, and earned a degree from Punjabi University in Patiala.
