Shahood Alvi is a well-known Pakistani actor, director, and producer. He was born in Karachi Pakistan. He has been working in Pakistani television dramas since 1994. He started work in the TV industry as an assistant of a sound mixer. He has worked in films and drama serials on many television channels.

In 1994, Shahood Alvi began his acting career after working in the TV industry as a sound mixer assistant. He found himself as an actor after spending a very short time in music. It was his dedication to his profession. He has been acting in more than fifty drama serials and a Pakistani film “Ramchand Pakistani”.

Shahood has been working in Pakistani television dramas since 1996. Some of his famous drama serials are Bol Meri Machli, Banna Mera Bara Anmol, Makan, Mera Naam Hai Muhabbat, Dunk (2020), and many more.

In March 2010, Alvi visited Karachi University, where he was attacked by female students because of his negative role in Bol Meri Machli. According to Daily Nai Baat, he tried to ensure the students that the role has nothing to do with his real-life but they didn’t believe him and hurled eggs and shoes at him.

Shahood Alvi got married and started a family at a very young age. He and his wife Saima, have three daughters, Sajal Shahood, Areeba Shahood, Areeja Shahood. Shahood is a relative of Bushra Ansari. Recently Shahood Alvi’s daughter Areeba started her acting career. She first appears in Anaa drama on Hum tv.
