Ella Rubin (born September 2, 2001) is an American actress known for her early start in film and her rising presence on stage and screen. She began her acting career as a child in the romantic comedy The Rewrite (2014) and later made her Broadway debut in 2019 with the Roundabout Theatre Company’s revival of The Rose Tattoo by Tennessee Williams. On television, Rubin is recognized for her roles in the Netflix drama The Chair (2021) and Hulu’s true-crime series The Girl from Plainville (2022).

Rubin was born and raised in New York City’s Upper West Side. Her father, Ron Rubin, was an insurance company CEO, while her mother is a talent manager who works alongside her sister, Jodi Kipperman, a casting director and president of Kipperman & Company. Passionate about performance from a young age, Rubin studied theatre and performing arts at the Professional Children’s School in New York. She is of Jewish heritage.
