Parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were jolted by an earthquake early Wednesday.
The earthquake, which measured five on the Richter scale, originated 20 kilometres west of Batgram at 3:10am, according to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre, Islamabad.
Areas where tremors were felt included Mansehra, Buner, Swat, Abbottabad, Swabi, Balakot, Shangla, Batagram and Tor Ghar. reported by samaa tv
A 5.0 magnitude earthquake hit different parts of the country on Wednesday. However, there were no reports of damages or injuries.
According to details, tremors were felt in Malakand, Swat, Shangla, Batgram, Mansehra and Abbottabad.
The epicentre of the earthquake was at the depth of 20 kilometer, according to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre.
Earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Mardan, Sargodha, Lower Dir, Swabi, DI Khan and other cities. As the tremors hit cities, people came out of their houses and offices reciting verses from the Holy Quran.
