Chal Mera Putt is an upcoming Indian Punjabi-language comedy-drama film directed by Janjot Singh and co-produced by Rhythm Boyz Entertainment Gillz Network and Omjee Star Studios.
New Punjabi Comedy Movie Chal Mera Putt movie is slated for release on 26 July 2019.
It stars Amrinder Gill and Simi Chahal in lead roles with Gurshabad, Iftikhar Thakur, Nasir Chinyoti, Akram Udas and Hardeep Gill in supporting roles. The film revolves around Punjabis trying hard to make a living in a foreign land. It marked the feature film directorial debut for Janjot Singh.
New Punjabi Film dropped its trailer yesterday. The Punjabi film is a collaboration between actors from both sides of the border.The film has been shot in UK and is about Desi people living away from home.
Ever since the strained relations between Pakistan and India, all kinds of cultural exchange have been stopped. The ban on Indian films has been effective since February. Along with Bollywood, Punjabi films were also stopped.
Film’s censor is scheduled in coming few days in Pakistan as Iftikhar Thakur is one of the producers of the film so the situation is different in this case.
