Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Peshawar Board Announced Matric and Intermediate Annual Date Sheet 2021. BISE Peshawar issued a notification in this regard. As per notifications SSC Annual Exam 2021 will start on 21st May 2021 and HSSC Annual Exam 2021 will commence on 17th June 2021.

It is pertinent to mention here that all other KP Boards, including Kohat Board, Abbottabad board and others will also follow the same schedule. Matric exams in KP shall start from May 21, 2021, and Inter exams from June 17, 2021. Peshawar Board is the larges Board of Intermediate and Secondary education in the province, and all boards follow the same guidelines by the provincial Government of KP.

The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education came into existence in 1961. Since then the BISE Peshawar has been conducting exams and Academic Programs on the Secondary and Intermediate levels. At that time, the area of Peshawar Board comprised the whole Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its tribal areas.

Later on, the number of educational institutions as well as the students increased so much that the public demanded the creation of more Boards. Taking into consideration the public demand, the Government decided to establish three more Boards at Abbottabad, Bannu and Swat. The bifurcation was therefore made and the other three Boards have been functioning since 1990 according to the Act promulgated for the purpose.
