Yamaha Shut Down Pakistan Operations for Motorcycle Manufacturing

Yamaha Motor Pakistan has officially announced that it will stop manufacturing motorcycles in the country. The announcement was made on Tuesday, bringing an end to the company’s local motorcycle production, which had been active for several years.

In its official notification, Yamaha explained that the decision was part of a new shift in the company’s overall business strategy. The statement said that this was not an easy choice, but it had to be taken because of the company’s long-term policy changes.

The company mentioned in its notice, “Due to a change in our business policy, we would like to inform you that we will discontinue manufacturing of motorcycles. We sincerely appreciate your long-standing support and loyalty.” This shows that Yamaha is not leaving its customers behind but simply moving away from local production.

Although motorcycle manufacturing will no longer take place in Pakistan, Yamaha assured its customers that it will continue to provide essential after-sales services. Spare parts for Yamaha motorcycles will still be available through YMPK-authorised dealers across the country. This step is meant to ensure that existing Yamaha owners do not face problems in maintaining their bikes.

Yamaha also made it clear that warranty services will remain active. Customers can still rely on the company for warranty claims, repairs, and support under the current warranty scheme. This is a major relief for Yamaha owners who were concerned about service availability after the announcement.

The company concluded its statement with a note of gratitude. It thanked Pakistani customers for their trust and loyalty over the years and promised to continue providing support until the very end. Yamaha added, “We will continue to do our utmost to support your motorcycle experience, and we are committed to serving you sincerely until the very end.”

This announcement marks a big change in Pakistan’s motorcycle industry. For many years, Yamaha motorcycles have been a trusted choice for riders in the country, known for their durability and style. While production is ending, the company’s commitment to parts, services, and warranties ensures that its existing customers will not be left behind.
