Earlier this week, the company officially confirmed that it will stop manufacturing motorcycles locally in Pakistan. In a formal notice, Yamaha thanked its customers for their continuous trust and loyalty over the years.
The official statement read:
“Due to a change in our business policy, we would like to inform you that we will discontinue manufacturing of motorcycles. We sincerely appreciate your long-standing support and loyalty.”
This marks a significant shift for Yamaha’s operations in Pakistan. While the exchange offer is designed to give current riders a smoother way to upgrade, the discontinuation of local manufacturing shows that the company is adjusting its business plans to suit changing market conditions.
