Shubman Gill is a talented young Indian cricketer. He was born on September 8, 1999, in Firozpur, Punjab, and he is a right-handed batsman who can also bowl right-arm off-break.
Shubman Gill came into the limelight after scoring 372 runs in the ICC U19 World Cup 2018. Following his game-winning 102 not out against Pakistan U-19 in the semifinal. Cricket legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Rahul Dravid, and Sunil Gavaskar praised his raw talent. The International Cricket Council (ICC) also recognized his skills by including him in the ICC team of the tournament in 2019.
Shubman Gill made headlines by scoring a double century (204) for India A against West Indies A in 2019. He became the youngest Indian to achieve this in a first-class match.

When he was older, his father moved the family to Mohali so that he could attend the Punjab Cricket Association's academy.
