Nida Dar all- rounder for Pakistan, tied Anisa Mohammed of the West Indies for the most wickets in Women’s T20 internationals with 125.
In Pakistan’s narrow loss to West Indies in the Women’s T20 World Cup Group 2 match on Sunday in Paarl, veteran Dar accomplished the amazing feat. In her four overs, she had two wickets for 13 runs, tying the previous mark. When Pakistan next plays England on Tuesday in their final group match, she can break the mark and pass Anisa.
It should be noted that after yesterday’s low- scoring thriller, Pakistan is essentially out of the tournament after losing by three runs. They would only have a remote chance of making it to the semifinals if they defeated England and Ireland also surprised India.
