Duckett began his international journey with the England Under-19 squad in the 2012 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

Duckett also played in The Hundred, representing the Welsh Fire in the first two editions. In the 2021 season, he even captained the team and earned praise for his performances, despite the team's overall performance. In the 2022 tournament, he scored over 200 runs, even though Welsh Fire didn't secure a win. In 2023, he moved to Birmingham Phoenix as their first pick in the draft.
