Adam Zampa is an Australian international cricketer who represents the Australian cricket team in limited-overs cricket. He was born on 31 March 1992 in Shellharbour, New South Wales, Australia. He plays for the national team in limited-overs formats. He switched from medium pace to leg spin as a young player, inspired by Shane Warne. He joined Australia's under-19 team in 2009 and later played for the Blues, earning a rookie contract in 2010 after being part of Australia's victorious 2010 Under-19 Cricket World Cup squad. In his youth career, Zampa took 11 wickets in two Test matches and eight ODIs.
Adam Zampa started his career with a rookie contract for New South Wales in 2010. However, he didn't get many chances at the state level due to competition from other spin bowlers. He made his first-class debut in the 2012–13 Sheffield Shield season for New South Wales. Later, he played for the Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League.
After the season, he moved to South Australia, where he worked with spinner Johan Botha. Zampa had a notable performance in the 2014–15 Matador BBQs One-Day Cup. He signed with the Melbourne Stars in 2015 for T20 cricket. His 2015–16 season was quite successful. He played for Australia in One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals but faced challenges in first-class cricket. In 2022, he joined the Welsh Fire for The Hundred.
Adam Zampa, known for his leg-spin bowling, made his ODI debut in 2016 and became a regular in Australia's limited-overs squads. He played a significant role in the 2016 World Twenty20 despite having recently joined the squad. Zampa's T20 franchise performances, including a memorable spell in the IPL, highlighted his talent. However, he struggled to break into Australia's Test side.

Adam Zampa was born to mother Alison Zampa and father Darren Zampa. Zampa Got married to Harriet Palmer in April 2020. She is a former Miss Earth Australia winner. the couple has a son named Eugene who was born in March 2021.
