In a dominant performance, Pakistan Champions spinner Saeed Ajmal dismantled the Australian Champions’ batting line-up, leading his team to a comfortable victory in the 14th match of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025 at Grace Road on Tuesday.
Australia Champions won the toss and opted to bat first, but their innings collapsed in dramatic fashion. Struggling against Pakistan’s experienced bowling attack, the Australians were bowled out for just 74 runs in 11.5 overs. It was Saeed Ajmal who stole the spotlight, using his spin magic to take key wickets and leave the opposition in trouble throughout the innings.
Poor Batting Show from Australia
None of the Australian batters could stay long at the crease. Despite having big names like Chris Lynn, Shaun Marsh, and Ben Dunk in the lineup, they failed to build partnerships or resist Pakistan’s disciplined bowling attack. The pressure kept mounting, and wickets kept falling one after another.
