Punjab Home Department Announces New Media Jobs

The Home Department, Punjab has announced a wide range of new job opportunities for qualified and motivated professionals across Punjab. These vacancies are being offered under the Media Thinktank for Resilience & Counter-Narrative Initiative (MTRNI), a project aimed at strengthening digital communication, media monitoring, and counter-narrative efforts. All positions will be filled on market-based salaries, making them highly attractive for experienced candidates in media and digital fields.

According to the official notification issued by the department, applications are invited for multiple positions covering media management, digital content, data analysis, and monitoring roles. The announced vacancies include Director Media and Communication, Data Analyst, Supervisor/In-charge Media Cell, Video Editor/Animator, Graphic Designer, Content Writers in English and Urdu, Social Media Optimization (SMO) Expert, Cameraman/Photographer, Digital Media Monitoring Assistant, and Electronic Media Monitoring Assistant.

Officials stated that these positions are designed for professionals who have strong skills in communication, digital media, content creation, video production, social media management, and electronic media monitoring. Candidates with relevant qualifications and hands-on experience will be given preference during the selection process.

Interested applicants must submit their applications online through the Punjab Job Portal at www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk. The department has clearly instructed that applications submitted through any other method will not be accepted. The last date to apply online is January 5, 2026, and candidates are encouraged to apply well before the deadline to avoid technical issues.

After completing the online application process, applicants are required to send their hard copy documents through registered courier only. The required documents include a printed copy of the online application form, an updated curriculum vitae (CV), attested copies of CNIC, domicile certificate, educational degrees, testimonials, experience certificates, and two recent passport-size photographs.

All documents must be addressed to the Section Officer (General), Government of the Punjab, Home Department, Punjab Civil Secretariat, Lower Mall, Lahore. The department has emphasized that documents must reach the given address on or before January 5, 2026. Applications received after the deadline or with incomplete documentation will not be considered.
