PU Admission Notice for LL.B 5 Years Program Morning & Self-Supporting Afternoon Programs (Annual System) Academic Year 2020-2021. For more details visit the official website pu.edu.pk.
In continuation of the advertisement for admission in Punjab University PU LL.B 05-Years Program Morning & Self-Supporting (Afternoon) Programs (Annual System) published in various National Newspapers (SPL # 1240) on 8 October 2020. As per notification No. 7191/ACAD dated 17-10-2020, issued by the Punjab University, Lahore, in consultation with Pakistan Bar Council, the following amendments have been made in the existing admission regulations of LL.B 05-Years Program Academic, Session 2020-2021.
Punjab University LL.B 5 Years Program 2020-2021:
- 1.No admission in LL.B. (05 years) Afternoon will be offered.
2.There shall be two groups for admission in LL.B. (05 years) Programme:- - i.Groups A will be considered as Regular (Morning) Programme along with 250 seats.
- ii.Groups B will be considered as Self Supporting (Morning) Programme along with 150 seats.
3.All terms & conditions of admission of Regular Programme (Group A) will also apply to the Self-Supporting Programme (Group B). However, hostel facility shall not be available in the self-supporting programme (Group B).

Further Details:
- The Afternoon Admissions in the above-referred admission notice should be treated as canceled.
- Upper Age limit of 24 years and late session deduction as contained in Admission Regulation Book–2020 for admission in LL.B. Regular Morning Programme (Group A) will also be applicable to Self-Supporting Morning Programme (Group B).
- Reserved seats will be available only as per the policy of the Punjab University.
- Admission Fee (Rs.500/-) will be refundable to those candidates, who have become ineligible for admission in LL.B. Morning Program due to these amendments/corrigendum.
- All other contents of the advertisement already published will remain the same.
- Those candidates, who have already applied against Self Supporting (Afternoon Program), need not apply afresh if they meet the required conditions of the Self Supporting Morning Program (Group B).
- The date for online submission of admissions forms has been extended till 06-11-2020 (Friday) to 9.00 p.m.
PU Instructions for 5 Year LL.B Program:
- The applicant’s age must not be more than 24 years, on the closing date fixed for the online form submission. (No age limit for self-supporting (Afternoon) programs)
- FA / F.Sc. or equivalent with at least 55% marks.
- In case any candidate who is found at any time to have obtained admission by making any miss-statement in the Admission Forms or by willful concealment of any material fact, (particularly about marks, division, previous admission to the College/Campuses or employment, expulsion, conviction, etc., and fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid down by the University Admission Rules 2020-21, his/her admission shall stand as canceled and all fees or other dues paid by him/her shall be forfeited.
Eligibility PU LL.B Five Year Program:
- The candidates holding F.A./F.Sc. or equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks and an age limit, not more than 24 years are eligible for admission in the regular programs. 3rd division holder candidates in any previous exam are not eligible to apply.
- The candidates holding F.A./F.Sc. or equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks are eligible for admission in the Self-Supporting( Afternoon) programs. 3rd division holder candidates in any previous exam are not eligible for admission. There is no age limit or session preference for Self-Supporting (Afternoon) programs.
- No student shall be admitted to a second or subsequent Undergraduate i.e. BS or equivalent (Regular and Self-supporting Program) in the University College.
- The candidates who have passed the Law Admission Test (LAT) conducted by the HEC with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply. (The Law Admission Test (LAT) conducted in September 2018 to September 2020 will be considered only).
