The pick order for the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 6) has been revealed officially. The official page of PSL posted on Twitter an hour back revealing the pick order for all six franchises.
Notably, two times PSL champions, Islamabad United has got the first turn in the pick order whereas, Karachi Kings, the recent winners, have been placed last on the pick order list for the first round.
PSL 6: Pick order for the first round
Wasim Khan, the CEO of the Pakistan Cricket Board, in his statements has revealed the tentative dates for the sixth season. However, the official schedule will be released later. According to the tentative dates, the leagues is likely to get started by 20th February.
Also, the four venues; Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, will continue to host the teams for the entire tournament. Arabniaz stadium was under construction but it has been left in the midst. Hence, it will no more be able to host PSL 6 as planned.
“We are looking to start from February 20th to March 21st and these are the tentative dates just like the last season,” he said.
“We have informed the franchises and they are aware of these dates. The matches will be played at the same four venues, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi,” he added.
